Hello, everyone who stumbles on this site and is interested in what I have to say!

School is almost, ALMOST over, and I am so glad. This semester was really tough for me, and I admit I had to go on a lot of long walks and give myself frequent pep talks. *I'm not crazy I'm not crazy*

The advent of summer really feels like high school all over again-- The tremendous relief, the desire to sleep really really late... I think that the best part of getting out will be that I finally have time, and I mean lots of time (or so it will seem compared to my sleepless nights this semester) to work on my own ideas! I am so thrilled that I'll actually have a chance to work on a digital painting that I could pee right now. I think the last time I worked on one of my own digital paintings for a decent length of time was in the fall. No joke. MONTHS ago.

I have so many months of inspiration pent up inside me that I just want to let it all out at once. And, speaking of inspiration, this is probably a good time to plug this really neat design site I found:

The website plugs an amazing artwork in the logo, illustration, web design, and photography fields daily. Many of our favorites here on DA make appearances there.

There really is so much to be excited about. Vacation, art, friends, and summer, minus the weather. (Oh, sticky, sweltering, mosquito choked summer... how I adore thee...)

I can't wait.
